Key Responsibilities
1. Pre-Flight Duties
Briefings: Attend mandatory pre-flight briefings to understand flight specifics, service requirements, and safety targets.
Cabin Checks: Inspect the cabin and galleys to ensure they are clean, secure, and stocked with adequate food, beverages, and emergency equipment.
Passenger Boarding: Welcome passengers, verify boarding passes, assist with carry-on luggage, and provide special attention to those with unique needs.
2. Safety & Emergency Operations
Safety Demonstrations: Explain emergency procedures, exit locations, and the use of safety equipment prior to takeoff.
Turbulence & Security: Monitor the cabin throughout the flight to enforce safety regulations (e.g., seat belts) and secure the cabin.
Emergencies: Manage unexpected events, administer basic first aid, utilize emergency gear (defibrillators/oxygen), and safely conduct evacuations if necessary.
3. In-Flight Service & Hospitality
Food & Beverage: Prepare and serve meals and refreshments to passengers.
Sales: Promote and sell in-flight entertainment, duty-free goods, and other retail items while meeting designated sales targets.
Guest Assistance: Address passenger requests, answer questions about the flight, and resolve complaints calmly and professionally.
4. Post-Flight Duties
Disembarkation: Assist passengers with exiting the aircraft safely.
Reporting: Prepare written reports regarding any incidents, medical issues, or significant happenings during the flight
